How to use?

  1.  Remove the foil with Screwpull’s easy to use Foilcutter and raise the Lever arm completely back to an “open” position.
  2. Clasp the neck of the wine bottle with the grips until the black pins protrude from the metal axis (see photograph below).
  3. Gently bring the lever forward, allowing the screw to penetrate the cork (diagram 1)
  4. Continue to grasp the arms and gently bring the lever arm back to the open position (diagram 2).
  5. To release the cork from the screw, remove the Lever Model from the wine bottle; holding the arms together bring the lever completely forward and then back (diagram 3).
  6. The self-releasing action of the Lever Model is not recommended for use on synthetic corks.

Raise lever to open position, clasp the neck of the bottle with grips, gently bring the lever forward to pierce the cork, then raise arm to remove. Replace screw after approximately 2000 uses. Clean with a damp cloth or warm soapy water.
