Seasoning – how it works Clean the product with dishwashing liquid and dry thoroughly Place the cold cookware on the hob and fill with approx. 0.5 cm of high-heat oil Heat the oil at medium temperature (do not leave unattended) Allow to cool and pour out the oil Only required before first use or after dishwasher cleaning With regular use, a natural patina develops, improving the cooking performance. This patina should not be removed. Cleaning black Silk Enamel Do not remove the patina – it improves searing results Allow the product to cool before cleaning Clean with warm water, soak briefly if necessary Use a nylon brush; avoid abrasive cleaners Dry thoroughly and store in a dry place Note: Cast iron is extremely durable but can be damaged if dropped. Tools to use For stirring comfort and surface protection, Le Creuset silicone tools are recommended. Wooden or heat-resistant plastic tools may also be used. Metal tools, spoons or balloon whisks may only be used with care and should not be scraped over the surface. Do not knock these on the top rim of the pan. Hand-held electric or battery-operated beaters should not be used. Their blades will damage the enamel. Cleaning and care Always cool a hot pan completely before washing. Remember to dry it thoroughly before storing. Never plunge a hot pan into cold water. While the Le Creuset Stainless Steel is designed to be durable, thermal shock can still occur and may result in a warped base. If there are food residues, fill the pan with warm water and let soak until the residues release easily. Nylon or soft abrasive pads or brushes can be used to remove stubborn residue. Do not use metallic pads or harsh cleaning agents, as these will damage the surface. A proprietary stainless steel cleaner can be used to remove hard water lime scale and other marks. It can also be used to condition, polish and protect the inner and outer surfaces. If you notice a slight discoloration on your pans after cleaning them in a dishwasher, try a different detergent. Never store pans while they are still damp; store them in a dry cupboard away from steam.

Removes both synthetic and natural corks with ease Comfortable and stable grip, even on flanged bottles Matching foilcutter included Incl. stylish gift box and visually matching foil cutter How to use?  Remove the foil with Screwpull’s easy to use Foilcutter and raise the Lever arm completely back to an “open” position. Clasp the neck of the wine bottle with the grips until the black pins protrude from the metal axis (see photograph below). Gently bring the lever forward, allowing the screw to penetrate the cork (diagram 1)  Continue to grasp the arms and gently bring the lever arm back to the open position (diagram 2). To release the cork from the screw, remove the Lever Model from the wine bottle; holding the arms together bring the lever completely forward and then back (diagram 3). The self-releasing action of the Lever Model is not recommended for use on synthetic corks. Raise lever to open position, clasp the neck of the bottle with grips, gently bring the lever forward to pierce the cork, then raise arm to remove. Replace screw after approximately 2000 uses. Clean with a damp cloth or warm soapy water.

Cast iron cookware

To ensure that you enjoy your product for a long time, please observe the following important instructions for use and care. Cast iron cookware has a long tradition and also meets the demands of the modern kitchen. The material offers optimum heat storage capacity for even cooking results and enables low-energy and low-fat cooking and frying. The cookware is also ideal for serving, as the material stores the heat generated during cooking and thus keeps the food warm. 
The cookware made of enamelled cast iron is suitable for all types of cookers: Electric and gas hobs, glass ceramic and induction hobs. 
In addition, the products can also be used in the oven or on the grill. Only heat the cookware gradually to the desired temperature - especially on induction hobs. Heating too quickly not only leads to poorer cooking results, but also to discolouration and possible damage to the product surface. 
Once the required temperature has been reached, you can reduce the heat input. This saves energy and the food is cooked gently. Thanks to the robust enamel layer, standard kitchen utensils can be used. However, we recommend avoiding objects with sharp edges and not tapping the cooking utensils on the edge of the pot or pan.
Caution: During use, the cookware as well as handles and lid knobs can become hot. Therefore, always use a pot holder, oven gloves or similar and always place the still hot cookware on a protected surface. With regular use, the screws of the lid knobs and pan handles can become loose. Please make sure that these are always retightened. 
TIP: Thanks to the excellent heat storage properties, you will achieve the best cooking results at low and medium temperature levels. This preserves the flavour as well as the heat-sensitive vitamins and you save a lot of energy when cooking.
